Crescent House is a luxury care home in the heart of Abington, Northampton. It is run by the same family that opened the care home in 1982.

We provide a warm and inviting environment, a real home from home.

We pride ourselves on our person centred approach to care, individually tailored our care to the specific needs of each resident.

We have 33 bedrooms, some of which can cater for couples, and all of which have televisions and telephone sockets. All of our room have en-suite shower rooms.

We care for the environment and are striving to reduce our carbon footprint. We have installed Solar Panels and air source heat pumps, they provide the energy for our individual heating and air conditioning units in most of our residents rooms.

We believe in the benefit of pet therapy for our residents, we have home pets and Shetland ponies which live in our paddock during the summer months.

As a care team we understand the benefits of using technology to improve our provision of care, from the care software that we have written ourselves, to the magic table and virtual reality glasses; it is fair to say that we are always innovating and looking for the next improvement.

We have a substantial IT environment within the home, including WIFI throughout the home for use by Residents & Visitors.

Our activities coordinator designs a monthly activities plan. Whether it’s watching our various talented entertainers, keep fit, arts and crafts or day trips out, there is something for everyone.

Crescent House provides delicious meals from quality ingredients. Some meals are provided through Apetito who are a leading food producer for the health and social care sector. Apetito provide an unrivalled choice of balanced meals, and also caters to our residents with smaller appetites, or those who require specialist, or texture modified diet.
